- Nov 2024 – NowSingapore
- Own the frontend for Campaigns: tools that help wealth management firms roll out investment strategies to their advisors and track adoption and portfolio impact.
- Built an LLM-powered smart filter in Java and Spring AI that helps advisors find the right portfolios faster, now in pilot.
- Designed it as a retrieval-augmented, multi-step pipeline with structured outputs, using Langfuse observability and ground-truth testing to tune prompts, token cost and model selection.
- Built a custom Vite plugin that keeps local development consistent across all client environments and eliminates environment drift.
- Review frontend designs and code across teams, including state management with Jotai, TanStack Query and Recoil, to standardize patterns.
- Present at engineering townhalls on architecture, design, testing approaches and optimizations.
- Build custom skills and use AI coding agents (Devin, Windsurf) to speed up day-to-day development.
- Jan 2023 – Oct 2024Singapore
- Frontend owner for TikTok Shop Creator Analytics, serving 1M weekly users across the UK, US and SEA on mobile and web; received two M+ (Exceeds Expectations) ratings.
- Led a full revamp of the mobile UI/UX and performance, achieving a perfect NPS score.
- Set up multi-region release and deployment pipelines with gray release strategies, and built a micro frontend architecture for cross-product component sharing.
- Built an i18n translation inspector for content designers, improving localization QA and cutting manual review time.
- Worked closely with product, backend, data and algorithm teams; mentored new engineers and interns (several converted to full time) and led technical seminars for university students.
- Jun 2021 – Jan 2023Singapore
- Built CI/CD pipelines for the Shopee app’s React Native platform, speeding up deployments of core product pages.
- Cut feature preview deployment time from 1 hour to 10 minutes, and local development startup from 10 minutes to 30 seconds.
- Maintained the React Native repository and platform SDK, and built internal Node.js CLI tools for automation and local development.
- Built an internal feature flag platform to streamline build-time configuration across teams.

- Built frontend features in React for a contract management platform, with some exposure to the Java Spring Boot backend and AWS.
